1/3 cup walnuts (or pine nuts)
1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese (optional)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
3-6 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
splash of balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, or cider vinegar
Combine ingredients in food processor and pulse until well combined. Serve as spread on a sandwich or pasta.
